Why did we select this book?
We chose this book because they liked the repetition of the text. What better line to repeat again and again, but, "I Love You" ? Tomie dePaola's excellent illustrations of children interacting with the world around them were also a strong reason to chose this title. As children grow, they will enjoy pointing out the objects in the book that they have learned the names for.
